E2160 + Tuniq Tower temps...

Hi all,

Just a bit of temp advice please. Ive got a E2160 @3.15 with 1.45v. Its Tuniq cooled with silver 5. I get around 66-68oC under load with all fans in my p182 full. Is this normal or should I try reseat the Tower?

Seems a little high, my E2140 runs ~63max at 3.2ghz, arent those fans deathening you ? Mine never get past low, and the tuniq towers on almost the lowest setting possible.

Yes they are a little loud, tend to leave them on low unless running orthos.

Well its on the floor between my bed and desk at the mo so not in the best of places. Ive got my memory overclocked also which gives some heat out into the case.

Mine went over 70 at 3.2 but then again i have a hot room.

Testing mine again now and it seems to get between 68-70oC now

whats you room temperature at, and does the temp drop if the case side is off ?

Yea slightly, Ive dropped it to 3.06Ghz now because its been bluesreening ingame aswell
