Hi Guys.

I know it's no real contest. Was just wondering, If I overclock the E2160 to say..3Ghz (Lets just say it does that speed for now) will the E4400 still be fast @ stock or will I need to over clock it? Does the E4400 overclock well?

Thanks all! :D

Well I have both chips. Just wondered which would be faster really. I am using the E2140 in this PC at the moment. Seems quick. Have not done any overclocking. My motherboard supports up to 1066 FSB. :) (However I have DDR 2 667 memory installed)

Well I have got to 2.20Ghz on the E2140. I can't seem to get more. The system will post at 2.24Ghz, but won't boot Windows. I tried Vcore at 1.36V. So not too sure it's safe to go more..:(

I've put the E6300 in now. At 2.0Ghz. Will check temps now..Can I add you to MSN, by the way, if you don't mind?
Thank you.

Things I've noticed with E6300:

It runs hotter.
Does higher FSB with lower Ghz speed. (Compard to the E2140).
At 2.07Ghz now..:(

Well, I got the E6300 to 2.38Ghz. Stock Vcore. But over that, Windows is unstable or won't boot. :(
