So I recieved a F2 bios version board and the official word is you need higher for the E2 series so I put F6 on no problems there.

Overclocking....
I have all the options up and have set them as required, I have not raised the Vcore or NB volts yet as I don't see a reason too, it should do 2.2ghz on stock surely?

Anyway to my problem, I can set the FSB @ 210 and it boots no problem, tried 220 and it keeps resetting it back @ 200, recovery from unstable OC failsafe thing I guess?

I have the memory @ auto as im sure this memory can do higher than 880mhz.... SO I don't think that is stopping me from getting 2.2ghz

Am I doing something glaringly obviously wrong here? These chips hit 3ghz easily yet I cant get 2.2ghz to post.

Im aiming for a FSB of 300, stuck on 210 right now though, if I hit 300 what multiplyer would the memory need to be on to have it running @ 800mhz? 2.5?

You was right, dropped the memory to 1:1 and it booted @ 2.2
Everything I have read is starting to make sense now :) Thanks

Orthos'ing @2.4 all stock volts - Don't realy want to overvolt anything, im pretty sure thats what killed my Asus board.
Lets see how high she goes @ stock.

Currently got it @ 2.6 with stock volts, hoping to hit 3ghz on stock but will no dought need a nudge. What great and cool running clockers they are.

Have'nt gamed with it yet, hopefully will see an improvment over my old X2 4200.

Well I got it @ 2.7 stock volts, 1.28 (maybe thats under volted im not sure)

Ran crysis just fine all on high so I saw no reason to push it further. Also yep a HUGE difference from the X2 4200. Boots @ 2.8 but has random restarts so just left it @ 2.7, there is much more in the bag but I don't need it.

Whaaat an OcUKer not pushing the chip till it implodes  sorry guys :p
