Hi all,
I 'm hoping to get the consensus on whether there's any point on getting the 2180 over the 2140 - I was initially leaning towards the 2180 because of its 10x multiplier as I planned to use the crossover asrock 4core board which seems to maxout near 300fsb but I've now secured a Gigabyte 965P-DS3 & plan on pairing it with the GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit that's currently on offer.
From what I can tell overclocks seem to be comparable, but obviously there is not much cash in it so I don't want to compromise for the sake of a tenner - therefore if there is any advantage to the 2180 please let me know..
thanks for looking
