I'm trying to get some more out of my E2180 but I'm having some problems.

It will boot on 320x10 but it doesn't like lower multis. 400x8 wont boot.

Also when I change the multi both Orthos and Windows System see my clock speed as the FSBx10 and not the FSBxMulti. CPU-Z sees it fine however.

Temps are great with 19c idle and 50c load at the moment (clocked at 3GHz)

I've got my RAM at 1:1 on 300x10 and it's 10hours orthos stable but I can barely get 3 minutes stable on 320x10 (with temps at ~60).

Can anyone suggest the best way to try and crank out some more juice? No real need for the extra MHz but I fancy pushing it a bit.

My specs:

E2180 (1.33v)
IP35-Pro
Ballistix 5300 (2.2v)

Its prolly your memory that doesnt like it at 800MHz.

My vcore is @ 1.45 (400x8) Temps max @ 62.

Most i got "stable" was 330x10 but only run orthos for like 20min so cant say that its stable. I'm happy with 400x8 so not bothered to find the max atm.

Its the fact that it likes 320x10 but not 400x8 that's doing my head in.

No way is your Ballistix holding you back (unless you're running 3-3-3-10 or summit).

Your chip probably has an FSB wall lower than 400mhz. The E21*0 range sometimes top out at 370-380mhz (tho most will top out at ~420mhz).

I set the timings to 3-3-3-12 before I started overclocking so I guess it's a possibility.

I've loosened the timings and I'm giving her more vcore now. Got a boot (and 10mins orthos stable) on 400x8 with 53c temps so let's see how it goes.
