E8400 clock very well.... I am on 9x411 and 1.3v 24/7
I am sure it can go much higher but I am let down by my mems
(ppl stay away from Mushkin redline)

so to conclude gigabyte p31 and a a clocked E2180 should be an OK combination for a lanbox.
