* e3 2008 Live Coverage Discussion *

This is just exciting more than anything tbh! Hope Sony have got something up there sleeve though! LBP, GoW3, Home, Resistance 2, Killzone 2 all still sound v. promising!! Maybe mention of Tekken 6, LA Noire?

lol FF13 was one of the games i was considering getting a Ps3 for, guess thats not a problem anymore :D

Although, on reflection about the MS conference, was there only 1 exclusive shown??
 
impressed with Ms overall, this is what they needed TBH to keep their console in the race. New dashboard, long overdue as the one at present although fine is outdated and what with Home on Ps3 and the whole Wii thing this should appeal to more casual players. Loved the gameshow channel, again aimed for the casual. Lips looks good - if done right and right songs it could outdo Singstar. Eyetoy game looks good also, looks just as good as any eyetoy game done on Ps2 and look how popular these games are on Ps2 - yet still nothing on Ps3 as such. FF13 the killer blow but i do expect it'll be on multiple discs probably........... Sony have some serious problems i think this gen, probably its saving grace is how quiet it is and Blu-ray movie and the odd exclusive, maybe this will change tomorrow, lol - but right now finding it hard that they can, good job i have all 3 consoles :)

You mean other than Geo Wars 2? and an exclusive Portal sequel? and Lips? and that movie game? and the Scene It sequel?

And then stuff coming to 360 that wasn't before like FF13, Banjo Kazooie on XBLA.
 
GOW 3 sounds promising.. but that was always gonna be coming.. I cant see them having anything to throw back after this.

multiple disks for a game like FF13 isn't exactly a massive problem though :confused: only matters when it comes to fanboy v fanboy arguments :p

• Play from hard drive. Copy your games from the game disc and play directly from the hard drive. Not only will the drive not spin, but load times are quicker, as well. Of course, you will still need the disc in the tray to prove you own the game.

excellent, no more disc spin - means having to get a 120gig Elite though, lol
