* e3 2008 Live Coverage Discussion *

They will have some 'BIG' game(s) out around Xmas 2009 what it will be I have no idea. So far its gone:

2006 - Gears of War
2007 - Halo 3
2008 - Gears of War 2/Fable 2

Agree GOW 2 was only game i want from conference wasnt fan of other games. :)

I'm trying to listen along, but its slow going. I saw Mirrors Edge though pretty well looks like something Ill be getting, but it's terrible at the moment. Got Peter Moore on stage at the moment.

Edit: Watching Tiger Woods at the moment, They have improved the motions on that a lot for the Wii.

Watching something called Rupture, looks a lot like Steam, only with more microtransactions.

Left 4 Dead set for Nov 4 on 360 and PC looking fantastic, and id software is currently on stage

And now its over, dunno what id software showed off G4 wouldnt show it, the audience looked liked they were enjoying it.

Aye considering IGN's feed was awesome especially the quality without buffering so often (think i buffered once). Think i will just wait for GT to host them or G4.
 
Heres an extended version of the music from the Mirrors Edge trailer, not sure if it's the original music like the title of the video claims (?) but it's still an awesome track and listening to it while watching the slides of the games is really mesmerising, really can't wait for this game, I don't know why but every-time I watch the Mirrors Edge trailer I almost find it emotional, theres just something about it.

You guys realise most of the gameplay videos shown during MS conference are available on Marketplace?

I'm really looking forward to Sony's tonight, should be interesting!

its a games console.... really it is.....
