Rumors:

sony

- No announcement of PS3 price reduction, but this does not mean the console will not decline this year.
- Confirmation on the official name, pricing and release date of the NGP.
- There will be 7 first party titles revealed for the NGP
- The Wipeout engine has been ported over to the NGP.
- Another Metal Gear game on its way in the future.
- Sony will reveal titles that will not be available until Christmas 2012.
- Warhawk sequel might be revealed before E3 (Starhawk)
- Twisted Metal, Resistance 3, Uncharted 3 and the Last Guardian will be playable at E3
- GTA V, could be released before Agent was planned to be
- Bungie might be in a big battle with Sony, so the game would be their next project with Activision.

I've always really looked forward to E3 but this year just feels not exciting at all. :/

Really? Last year was lol with all the motion crap.. actually, haven't the last 2 E3's been all about motion controls? I don't think this year will focus much on any of the motion stuff.

Unless Nintendo's new console is like a cross breed between Kinect and Move? Plus their new controller that has a screen on it? Pretty exciting reveal.

I also can't wait to see more of the PSP2 as that looks really good.

The Nintendo conference should be... interesting, a new console and the fact they haven’t announced a new game for the 3DS since e3 last year.


Plus we haven’t seen a thing about metal gear solid 3DS since the trailer last year im expecting a demo, videos and a release date for it.


Also I don’t think any thing will top sonys E3 2006 for shear embarrassment :p
 
As long as we get a Borderlands 2 reveal, I shall consider it a success. :D

But seriously, I can't wait to see Skyrim, ME3 and Last Guardian all in action.

Not really.


I just feel from Nintendo it's always the same game wise, and when they create something unique and cutting edge which they did with the Wii it's all too easy for MS or Sony to trump them with something that is going to give gamers a more immersed gaming experience. It'll be interesting to see what they come up with though.

I think we can establish though that all motion controllers are not very good for the sort of games that the purists like to play, they're ok for having some fun with your mates/family but other than that they're not taking off.

I don't really think MS & Sony have trumped them, they're more on an equal playing field as they all offer basically the same experience.

However I will be interested in what nintendo have to offer and the retail price of the NGP. anything else surprise worthy will be a bonus. I'd most likely expect MS to announce the Kinect for windows SDK and details.

Wii has a smash bro's game. :confused:

They would have to have a better online service to start with... I don't see Sony or Nintendo ever being better than Microsoft with their online gaming service. "Hardcore Gaming" is pretty much all about the online now. When Nintendo were considered "hardcore" they were all about the SP.

Zelda MMO? Mario going M rated? That would be pretty hardcore.
 
looks like last guardian will live up to expectations and e3 will shows us a lot more gameplay and footage this is the game im looking forward to most , cannot wait till e3 rolls around not long now :)

Agreed. Don't think Zelda should be MMO unless more emphasis was placed on sword skill etc, however a Pokemon MMO is what the series is crying out for. Sure its a kiddy concept and cute monsters etc etc but from a gameplay perspective it'd have the potential to be truly amazing.

and yes wii does, its amazing.
