Just having a look through the US Playstation Store and there is a big banner with E3 on saying "Get ready for something new July 11th-July13th". Im guessing this means that E3 content will be coming onto the PSN between those days. Wonder if it will be just Sony stuff or multi platform games as well, maybe even the Lair, HS demos

is Lair not ever released yet? i thought that was meant to be a launch game o_0

I think the spread date 11th-13th means it's certainly going to be E3 related downloads, same as XBLive..

I hear what you are saying about Lair, yet another massively delayed game we are all waiting for... At least it will beat GT5 to the shelves..

I'd be more than happy with the PS3's current state of games if some good demos got released of the exclusives, not just demos of ports.

Roll on E3.

I would be happy if they would release any demo, or better yet how about some new games :(

When asked if Sony has plans of making E3 available for its own next-gen console, a Sony representative had this to say:

Unfortunately, with Home still in beta, there is really no way that we can re-construct the E3 experience online this year. The beauty of Home is that we can stream media into it. So, even the lobby could serve as a showcase for demos and videos in the future. But that's not something we are doing this year.

So I guess it's a good job that the 360 has Home so we can 'stream media into it'....

So they can't put videos, demos etc up until they get Home? What a ridiculous statement.

I think I'll wait and see tbh, that statement is made on a 360 website and seems more intent on getting people wound up.

Personally I'm not particularly bothered as I can get all the info off the various websites, but it would be nice to get a demo or two. Which will hopefully be Lair & Heavenly Sword as we know both of them are coming and Lair is arriving in July:)

Ugh if they don't have anything on PSN over E3 that's a major thumbs down from me.

I want atleast some demos it can't be that hard, Heavenly Sword devs already said a demo isn't that far away so I think it's E3 time for that.

I'm hoping (fingers crossed) that we'll see a demo of Lair arrive this Friday (as it was originally slated for end of June), and a demo of Heavenly Sword next Friday after E3.
But it may well be wishful thinking on my part?

The PSN has been getting a lot better recently at least with videos and cheap games. Just needs some more demo's as it's really lacking these atm :(

I agree, but why haven't they added all the demo's on the US PSN store when they started to sell the EU PS3 is still a mystery to me  :(

Excactly, why should it be special if it is distributed thru PSN, what a load of crap.

Sony is trying to take the attention away from the issue of lacking games

I much prefer to download that stuff in HD, direct feed format.
I need to use my PS3 HDD for something.

I only have 10GB left on my drive, it's irritating that a 340MB DIVX is converted to a 950MB MPG2 file and a few years of Top Gear quickly fills the harddrive :o

SCEA has revealed its plans to offer PlayStation Network coverage of the E3 Media & Business Summit.

Consumers will be able to download E3 content onto their PS3 consoles directly from the PlayStation Store, including the entire SCEA press conference to be held on July 11th. A variety of game trailers, videos, and other editorial content from the show will also be made available.

In addition to the downloadable content available through the PlayStation Network, consumers can follow E3 2007 through daily content on Playstation.com and the official PlayStation Blog.

No news if there will be any demos though, but still its a start.
