E39 Fluid Leak

On the plus side, the chafing to the lower rad hose is minor. On the minus side, the ATF cooler has popped.

That'll be £763 inc VAT thankyouverymuch, which includes new cooler, flush, fluid and all gaskets & filters.
 
What, which then goes pop again in a thousand miles time, wasting anything upto ~£150 (~£18/l) fluid and possible damage to the gearbox? Nah. Not for me thanks!

I have no doubt I could do it myself if I followed one of the many online guides, but it would take me ages and the weather is crap at the moment. In new parts alone I'd still be looking at quite a lot for genuine and not pattern.
