E4300's

Has anyone lapped there E4300 ? If so has it made a big difference ? My E4300 sits at 28-30c idle but it jumps up to 65c load. Would lapping my cpu be worth while ?

Your idle temps are good so it's more likely to be a poor HSF and/or poor airflow throught the case. You haven't said what either of these are....

I have a Thermaltake Soprano with 2x 120mm akasa ambers and Akasa AK-961 CPU Cooler

How hot the cooler get when running under load? Reason I ask is that if the HSF is making bad contact then the cooler will be cool to the touch, if it's hot then the contact is OK. Also did you check the contact footprint to see if either the cooler of the CPU is not flat.

If you're going to lap then I'd lap both the bottom of the cooler and the IHS to make sure both are flat.
