Well here i am again trying mess with my clock speeds and sqeeze a little more out of my pc.Recently got an E5200 and P5Q Pro.I dont know much about overclocking, so ive been reading and messing around. When i get my pc to 3.7ghz it runs good, but i find that it runs a lot better at 3ghz.Anyone tell me what im doing wrong.Thanks.

give us more info like

FSB
multiplier
voltages
temps
any stability tests you have ran (OCCT, orthos etc)

explain what you mean by runs a lot better at 3ghz as opposed to 3.7 GHz?

At the moment its at 3GHz.Thats the cpu ratio at 9.0, fsb 333, stock volts and memory at 2.10volts. When i had it at 3.7ghz the ration was at 12.5,fsb 296 ,cpu volts 1.45,mem at 2.10volts.When i benchmark it with everest it gets a high score at 3.0ghz.I ran Prime 95 and its stable at both settings.i hate messing around with voltages becasue im not really very good at overclocking.Just wondered if you can point me in the right direction.Ive read all the stickies and loads of tuts.I just dont understand why i can get my pc to 3.7ghz and it seems to be more responsive at 3ghz, thanks.

Your memory scores are lower in Everest at the lower FSB speed you are using for 3.7Ghz. Try 10 x 360 and move on up from there ;)
