E5200 stock cooler

Hi all

bit of a silly question
I am about to install my new E5200 but I am undecided on witch cooler i should use. It came with the original intel cooler, however, I have another Intel cooler that came with a E6600 and I never used it, but they are not the same. The E5200´s heatsink is half the size (thinkness) of the E6600 heatsink. Does it make any difference?

Yeh, the bigger one will cool better than the smaller one, seeing as it has more surface area to dissapate heat over.

Yeah the bigger one will be better, but if you want some heavy overclocks you're going to need a 3rd party cooler
