looks good to me. Sometimes wonder how much 1mb cache is holding me back in games

I said month's ago that there was to be a E5xxx series but was rubbished. Nice to see is was right. I believe these are replacing the E4xxx series and will most probably be priced around the same as the E4xxx's.

I see that they're sticking with the "Pentium dual core" labelling. They really do like to brandish cheaper chips as inferior, so they can sell more of the expensive chips, robbing gits.

Hmm that could work out quite handy plan to make a new comp in next 3 months or so and one of this would be good and clock it high and would be great if the price was like lower end of the 4xxx series.
But can i ask does the cache have a great effect on gaming gameplay or so, would 2MB be ok compared say to the E8200 6MB cache.
Thanks.

There would be a difference, but definitely not ~£50 worth of difference. That's why the 2160 has been the chip to buy for the last 18 months.:)

I think these are to replace the E2xxx series Pentium Dual Core and the E4xxx has been replaced by E7xxx.

I've found these in stock for ~£65. It doesn't seem like a good buy at that price, as the e7200 less than £10 more.
