Hi everyone,

My 6600 runs at 3.4ghz stable prime at stock volts. Just seems anything higher and I need to up the volts past 1.4v or more. I stopped testing there as I figured I would see what others are getting here.

Volts
MCH @ 0.375
FSB @ 0.25
Multiplier x8

Would be ideal to hit 3.6ghz now. It post at 3.8ghz but I highly that's going anywhere.

Is there a thread with everyone's E6600 overclocks and volts they had to hit the chip with.

I am also using a P35-DS4 motherboard and dont how many have these?

Cheers.

Mine was failing at 3.5ghz @ 1.4v within a few minutes of prime95. :(

Now looking at that tables I see some are running them as high as 1.55v. That's a heavy whack from that stock 1.26v??

I have kept ram low hen testing, FSB and MCH should have enough juice?

Judging by some of the 3.4ghz volts I seem to have a fairly decent chip that runs at stock volts and that speed.

ok I had everything set to auto and"assumed" my volts were 1.256 something but cpuid showed 1.36v and with vdroop so I reckon it was about 1.4v when sitting at 3.4ghz.

Managing to prime now at 1.45v @ 3.6ghz. Maybe I can reach 3.8ghz with water on this processor???? who knows???
