E6300 and XFX 680i overclock help needed

Hey all,
Im just wondering if anyone can help me overclocking the E6300 on the XFX Nforce 680i motherboard, I've had a fiddle but getting nowhere, I cant seem to get the multiplier passed 7, it doesnt seem to allow this, i may be missing something.

Nevermind I've just figured it out lol, im up to 2.8ghz now gonna see how she runs then I may drop her back down

The multiplier is locked at 7, you can lower it usually but not increase it. Taking your FSB to 333 will give you a nice little overclock, i wouldnt advise pushing the speed anymore than that as i have killed a XFX 680LT board through overclocking, make sure that northbridge is cooled properly.

Great thanks for the reply, I'll drop it back a bit then to avoid the death of my motherboard
