Hi all

My temps are 36 idle and never goes over 53 when running orthos for 8 hours. My temps are from speedfan. Ive ran 32mb Super Pi as well and all seems fine.

I been reading around the forums and some say that under 60 is fine when under load. Is this correct? I would like to push more if all is safe.

Cheers.

Im using a super lanboy case and the front 120mm fan is block by the hard drive cage, i think im gonna have to make it faster to get more air in. At the mo i cant hear it at all.

Is say 58 fine under load?

Would go over 60c tbh, just for peace of mind.

dont you mean would'nt :p

Thanks for the advice buddy. Also how much cpu, ram stressing do you do? Someone from another post does this -

How I test my setup:
1. SPi 32mb
2. 3d06
3. SnM Long test (not loop)
4. 8hrs of small fft's (I still prefer dual P95 but orthos is ok I guess)
5. 8hrs blend
6. 8hrs large fft's

Is this a good way to test stability?

It became very unstable anything over 420 x 7. So i slackened the RAM timings from 4-4-4-12 to 5-5-5-15 and now its 440 and all seems fine. I will keep pushing lol.

if you're using the Geil ULL like me, then slacking it to 5-5-5-18 will help get it to 460-465

Yep im using geil, i slacken it to 5-5-5-15 and its rock solid at 450 x 7 with a voltage of 1.39. My temp are 37C idle and 57 load. those temps are high enough so im not gonna push it any further. My 3dmark06 score is now 6107 and i havnt overclocked my X1900XT yet ;) so im happy with that.

Cheers guys.
