As the title says which processor should i get in my new spec? Main uses will be 3ds max/maya/photoshop and gaming. So simply put which is the better choice?

I won't be venturing into the realms of overclocking, and this is my first build i just want it all to work lol.

so E6300 dual core, or x3210 quad core?

If you can easily afford an x3210 then go for it.

If it's going to be a big outlay then wait til the prices drop later in the year.
