hello everyone,

Today with a lot of help (thanks WJA96) i was able to overclock my new e6300 to 2.4GHz but no more under stock HSF. I have looked around for some overclocking reviews but im not sure where im going wrong. My specs (see my sig). I think its all to do with voltage. I have read here http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/cpu/display/core2duo-e6300_8.html

paragraph 7-8 states that problem with ocing e6300 is low voltage on the northbridge and by increasing that voltage in accordance with vcore, you can push it past 2.5Ghz. So far i have done the Ock at stock voltages.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

I have read around and i think i should atleast take it to 400mhz fsb, in my opinion the voltage is restricting the overclock here. But im not sure which voltage.
