Hi,

I have just had my first experience of overclocking !! wahoo

I have an e6300 and Geil pc6400 ultra low latency on an asus p5b deluxe/wifi, the cpu is cooled by a freezer 7 pro.

So, I started with the fsb at 333mhz and worked my way up to 400. Which i was aiming for as now my memory is running at its full potential at a 1:1 ratio with the FSB.

I have a couple of questions...

I am using a voltage of 1.3v at this overclock, is this ok or should it be stable with a lower voltage ?

also, the temps i am seeing are ~40c idle and about 52-54c under load (orthos for 30 mins), Do these look ok ? whats the temperature i want to start worrying at ?

How should i test this overclock if fully stable ??
i want to lower the voltage untill it becomes unstable then go back one !

any input would be great,
arge
