I can get a Conore E6300 for cheaper than retail now, so am gonna go for it, but a thought just occured...

with the low multi... what sort of FSB can the current boards achieve ? (Asus Top board in particular, im looking at P5B atm)

and heres the noob bit, can you run a divider ?? :p

havent had intel since Celery 333 :eek:

To be honest, I dont know much about Conroes, but I do know that:

E6600 = x9 multi
E6300 = X7 Multi

The FSB is usually 400. Some people with mods on a few boards have (I THINK) reached 500.

THe average seems to be 400, on the Asrock boards, the FSB I think is 300.

Not sure on the divider, I am 90 percent sure that you can.

Sod it, its cheaper than retail atm, and i can always sell it on, its the same batch as the current WR chip :D ... can sell it if its not up to my expectations i suppose :)
