E6300 Overclocking.

So i got my new core duo today, and i decided to give it ago at overclocking!
but when i try and go above 280FSB with x7 multi the computer fails to boot and then reverts back to the old one. Anything below 280 is fine and boots ok. Currently im 1 1.96GHZ from stock 1.86GHZ.

The temp on max load is 29C so dont think its that. and ive updated my bios to the latest revision. Anyone got any ideas? im quite new to overclocking so have i done something wrong?

Yeah, i read them before i starting overclocking it. Anyother ideas mate?

Yeah, i missed the chipset overclock which seemed to do the trick. at 2.6ghz now. 29C on full load. im a happy chappy!
