E6300 to E6800 for £40?

I have been offered my E6300 plus £40 for a E6800? Do you guys think this is worth it? Its the max my budget P965 motherboard can take so no overclocking either.

I think the 6800 was an unlocked multi chip, so it could be good. I'd haggle a bit though.

surely it wasn't the E6800 but the Intel Core 2 Extreme X6800 (2.93ghz)?

if thats the case, and your boards a garbage clocker, ide be inclined to take it.

Sorry yes it was the X6800. I guess I'll go for it. Looking at the benchmarks it looks to be a 30%-50% increase.
