I have my e6300 overclocked to 2.8ghz (400fsb x 7) nice and easy !

but when testing it with super pi, it freezes halfway through the 8M test and i have to reboot !

it also wont complete 3dmark, freezing halfway through.

the temps during the testing are around 42c so nothing major

The voltage i am currently using is 1.300v, and as i have heard people overclocking to this level on standard voltage i thought this would be sufficient.

So, what voltage are people using for their different e6300 overclocks ??

BiG Wayne,

Really? I've seen others running 1.25v at 3Ghz ?!?.

Im still sorting a slight memory problem i.e. cant get me mem to run 4-4-4-12 but have some suggestions for resolving. Will run Orthos for 12hours after I've nailed this prob.

depends what they mean? if thats the reading they are getting under load in windows (via monitoring software) or thats the vCore they are setting in BIOS.

Just interested thats all! :)
