Hi,

I've just bought an Ultra-120 HSF, had a go at applying the chillfactor2 thermal paste (Not too good with applying paste) and using realtemp I'm getting idle temps of 46 and load temps of 62....

I'm assuming these are too high? It's running stock @ 1.86ghz...

Scythe S-Flex...

Just took it all out, wiped it clean and reapplied it, ran realtemps3 and it idle's at 37 and under Prime95 hits 45...

Bit happier now, but do these seem reasonable?

I'm looking at overclocking it if these temps look fine :)

I have mine under water and it idles at 35 - 37 at the moment in this heat and 42 - 45ish 100% load.

I have mine clocked to 2.7.

Tbh the heat doesnt help, but I would say you will be fine to get the chip to around 2.5 on stock volts / upping a little. So shouldnt make much difference to temps :)

Give it a go and see :)
