Hi guys :)

Well.. Went to a big LAN this weekend and decided to mess about with my brand spanking new CPU and GFX card :)..

Got my e6300 up to 3.0Ghz @ stock cooling.. It was stable through 3DMark06 but the stock cooling couldn't hold it off.. It's now stable @ 2.4Ghz up from 1.8Ghz untill I get my new heatsink and fan tomorrow, and then it will be like 3.2Ghz I'm hoping for! GFX card: 8800GTS 640MB up from 500/1600 to 620/2000.. Getting a little over 10k on 3DMark06 now, It's lovely coming from just over 7k stock :).

What do you guys think?

MeatLoaf can I just ask, what heatsink and fan do you have? Also your case and fan specs if that makes a difference to your overclock.

cheers :D

Ive got a Freezer 7 Pro on the CPU which i run on full pelt 24/7 ( cant hear it over the kids lol ) and a 120mm fan at the rear of my case, a Thermaltake Mambo :)

40 idle, 55 load :)

Sorry to butt in guys but im in the same situation, just built my new system, 6300/DS3/Ballistix 5300. Im running at 458fsb mem at 1:1 (4-4-4-12). Everything is stable and i have got my desired 3.2ghz speed. My voltages are Ram 2.2 And Vcore 1.45. Would i have to start messing with the other voltages on my board to get a faster overclock than this? My temps under 2xOrthos blend test are 55'c, Using a Zalman cooler.

Thanks.
