e6400 and ds4 clocking help

Each and every chip is different, so there's no way to say how far it will overclock. Tho 3.3ghz should be possible if it's a half-decent chip.

Set the FSB and MCH voltages to +0.1v, whack the CPU voltage upto 1.425v, set the Memory Multiplier to x2.0, set the correct memory voltage, and see how far you can push her.
 
ok cheers well i just thi secound only changed the fsb to 380 i think and it went to 3ghz so then i did the cpu voltage and mch change and when i saved the settings and the pc made a noise at the start up and its all gone back to stock speeds

btw whats best correct memory voltage Corsair 1GB DDR2 XMS2-5400C4

Give it a bit more FSB voltage. Might need some more CPU vltage, but watch your temps.
 
Eeek that's toasty.

See if you can drop the CPU voltage a bit. If you can't then you'll either need to drop the speed or invest in a new cooler.
 
yes well the fan on the pc is kinda on low i forgot what program i need to speed it up
just lower the cpu voltage and its idel 53c
