I've managed to get mine running at 3.6Ghz, Ram at 900mhz (does do 1000 when FSB is at 400) on air, been playing BF2 all night and its stable, reckon this is a decent overclock :D

in 06 I get 10036

E6400
2 Gb Geil 6400 5,7,7,23 (I havent tried tightening them yet)
DS4 Mobo (F6)
BFG 8800 GTS 610/2000
Tagan 580W PSU
2 x Spinpoint 250's in RAID 0
2 x maxtor 200's in RAID 0
22" Iiayma Pro 500 CRT

I got 10580 in 2006 on my 6300@3 gig and 8000gts@ 650/1000, would have expected more, maybe the extra core clock on mine helps, or maybe your ram timings.

you think i can get atleast 3.0ghz with a similar spec

DS4 mobo
E6400
GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit

standard fan on e6400 but 2 extra on case :D

You can - FSB to 430 - multi at 7 - ram divider to 2 and the ram shoudl be fine at that - maybe loosen the timings and up its volts.

The stock cooler is actually pretty good i found. But try 2.8ghz tbh. 400x7 - dosnt overclock the ram atall that way and is still a good clock

Heres my 6400 prime stable @ 3.7ghz 1.5v

GeIL stuff doesnt seem to want to go too far for clocking for me - i got the Value kit also.

I've been 24 hours Orthos stable at 3.6 with this setup using timings of 5-5-5-15 1T:-

E6400, 1.6v (watercooled), 460x8
P5N-E (650i), 1.563v
2GB GeIL, 2.1v (doesn't like any more than this amount of volts), 800mhz

3.7ghz causes me to reboot currently after running Orthos for a few minutes, and i suspect this is the vdroop. I also reckon i could use 1.55v and below for 3.7ghz if i sort the vdroop out.

Bear this in mind when clocking.
