Have you tried using CPU-Z?? I'm pretty sure that will be able to tell you what your stepping is, google and download it...it's a pretty useful program

i have cpu-z already my mobo is borked atm just wondering if i got a good stepping

I have CPU-Z running, and I can't see any info regarding my E43

There's a week 42 in the MM for sale, tempting to see if the newer silicon is any better but think I need to invest in a better board first.

first one is week 24 and second is week 29 both 2006 not sure on the clockability tho
