I currently have my chip @ 2.8 on stock settings ect with stock cooler (chip currently maxes 39c idle and 49c on full load) all i have done is changed the fsb to 355.

However when i try to boot @ 375 fsb windows wont boot.

Does anyone know what settings i need to change, as im not to sure about what volts need changing ect.

Might need to check your memory divider make sure it's set to 1:1 and voltage is set correctly according to spec mine is crucial ballistix memory and is meant to be 2.2 volts i have this setting in the bios some boards such as gigabyte have +0.1 +0.2 +0.3 and so on in the voltage settings default is normaly 1.8 volts so +0.1 would be 1.9 volts and so on 0.2 will be 2.0 volts.6420 should do 3ghz easily on all stock volts try 400 fsb x8 multiplier.Would help a lot knowing which motherboard you have.It sounds as though you have not changed the memory divider to 1:1 though.Find your exact board model and use the search function.
