yes...the multiplier is 6 because speedstep is enabled. As soon as the CPU sees sufficient load it will jump to 8 (8x266 = 2130)
 
Why? CPU clocks zip up to full speed as soon as the cpu gets any work. Even just dragging a window around the screens normally enough to trip the cpu back to full speed.

Speedstep saves energy, and reduces cpu temperatures when cpu is idle.
 
Even when overclocking it only really seems to make a difference when your taking screenshots, unless im missing something ?
