e6420 tjunction and temps

In coretemp my tjunction is read as 85C so from advice here i take this into account and add 15C to the temp readings.

But i have now read somewhere else that on b2 stepping e6420's the tjunction is actually 85, can anyone clear this up?

Are you running the latest CoreTemp (0.95.4)?

It will list the correct Tjunction.

may I know what Tjunction is? Mine says 100 all the time (e6550)

Coretemp lists my E6420's Tjunction as 85 too.
