E6550 Overclock Help

I have a E6550 that i want to overclock.

My rig is:
Asus P5K SE
2x1gb OCZ Gold DDR2 PC2-6400 / 800mhz
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro
E6550 2.33ghz stock

I currently have it running at 2.8ghz. Current temps are 22c idle and 39c load using Prime95.

Would like to get 3-3.3ghz, problem is im not too sure what to do with voltage and ratio with ram. I currently have both on auto.

Also my case has a cpu air duct thing, was wondering if i should take it off since my cpu cooler is on the side.

Hey, I have my E6550 at 3.4 (rounded) with 1.5v... just a guide for ya cos I dont know what your specific voltage is at stock etc

you could probably tweak the voltage down as well but I havnt cos I overclocked it about a year ago and I think since then I hadn't bothered to perfect it... I have water cooling although I have heard of the Freezer 7 pro being a great cooler anyway so may not make a massive difference
