E6600 and the Ds3, what clocks can you get?

I'm thinking of upgrading my cpu, and wonder what clocks others are getting with this combo.

not sure about the 6600 but the 6300 gets about 450 fsb

Aye, the E6300 clocks really well, I was hoping to get about the same on a 6600, but you don't see many posts of people using the ds3.

Yes mate, I've looked at that, but there ain't any results using the Ds3 and e6600.
I've just looked at the Ds3 thread and some have managed 3.6, but not many. I guess I need to order and try. I still have my 6300, which I could always put back in.

I've my e6600 at 450x8 (3.6Ghz) in my DS3. Needs 1.5v tho.

You'll probably need decent cooling to get to 3.6ghz.

Nice clock there, hope I can manage that. I'm on water, with the 6300 and temps are very cool. Looking forward til tomorrow, and the fun of O/c again.

I was going to sell my 6300, but I'm tempted to upgrade my Matx computer with it. there doesn't seem to be many good o/c matx boards around.
