E6600 - Anyone ordered one this week?

Just got the cpu a week or so ago, i didnt bother trying to prime it at this speed, a cpu that is only ment to do 2.4ghz doing 4ghz just sounds crazy to me

Thats coz you are chicken tbh Should run it at 4ghz 24/7 like a real man.

quick google say 3.8-3.9 max

My L628Axxx can boot into Windows at 3.8Ghz, but is only stable at 3.6Ghz.

A better board might get it stable at 3.7ghz+.

well I'll be using a EVGA 680i but I'll be more than happy with 3.6ghz stable

Hmm mines a L629A531, its at 4 Ghz on air, running 24/7 atm and had no problems in games like CSS or EQ2, havent ran Orthos though.

It did Super PI 1M in 14.093
