tried overclocking yesterday.. you can see the hardware specs in the sig
got it stable @ 3.42Ghz with 1.375V vcore voltage.. haven't touched the memory at all... any increase of FSB further than 380 renders the machine unstable and it fails within first seconds in Orthos test... temp are fine (35C idle in TAT) and forty something loaded..water does the job
I even tried increasing voltage up to 1.4 and when i raise FSB it falls over again
so 380 and 1.375V seem to be highest settings at which the PC is stable
How do I go further ? I really want to hit 4Ghz
and i also wanted to ask some advice on the memory OClocking. ec. hot to get it to work at 1:1 ratio
