hello there. im just running my cpu at a nice steady 3ghz and have done for past 3 months.

would it be worth taking it up a bit to 3.3 or 3.4 ghz?

thanks

oh and plus if i take it up, my ram will be at 450mhz. i currently have it at 416mhz at 4-4-4-12.

would the timings be fine still at 450mhz or will i need to take the ram voltage from 2.1 to 2.2v ? thanks

im at 3.2ghz 355x9

444mhz ram at 5-5-5-18. would my ram be able to cope at 4-4-4-12 at that mhz do you think?

thanks. btw im testing it now. no errors so far, full load at 41c at the moment

aka the one below pc6400 setting?

oh and plus for 3.4ghz what voltage do you reccoment, its a L630b core.

the voltage is on auto at the moment, whats the stock voltage btw?

dont run it in sinc mode

run the ram @ 400 4,4,4,12

then play with your fsb in 24mhz upps till you cant get it to run stable

once you cant ge tit give it a little more vcore

once heat is a big factor stop and go back down one setting

sinc mode?

btw i just tryed 3.4ghz all the way up to 1.5v and it wouldnt boot into windows.

dropped it to 3.3ghz (367x9) at 1.4v it fired up 1st time.

it seems stable so far so i think 1.4v might be too high.

only got it at 5-5-5-18 at the moment at 367mhz ram.

1:1 its at.

if i decide to stay at 3.3ghz shall i take it up to 5:4 again so its at 458mhz?

thanks

you will find when trying to find the best overclock to leave it unsinced so if it wont boot you know its not the ram stopping you...

would runing 400x8 be a wise choice for 1:1 memory and it would end up at 3.2ghz, i only want 3.2ghz.

or shall i run 355x9 and end up with 444 memory?

thanks

How are you cooling your CPU? Mines at 3.3GHz stable but I can't go higher as my temps are around 57C on a Scythe Ninja rev B

on a 120.3 rad atm

btw my overclock failed woooof thats the scareyest feeling ever when this is the best pc iv ever had :D

i should have stayed at what it was at befor instead of being greedy lol

i cant Disable Virtualization Technology

its greyd out, but the thing below it the speed step i can disable that, will it be fine for clocking? i cant remember if i disabled it last time
