E6600 Couple of questions

First I've overclocked my E6600 to 3.0GHZ, CPU-Z and 3D Mark06 have confirmed this is my speed as well as my PC boot screen but when going to properties (right click on my comp) it shows 2.39GHZ?

Second I have brough a Asus Silent Knight cooler PIC what can I saftey clock to using this, current idle temps Core1 43 Core2 41 Degrees, CPU 37.

System Properties is showing the CPU speed from its original ID i.e. 2.4GHZ. Nothing to worry about if it's showing 3GHZ elswhere.

It shows the I.D twice such as E6600 2.40Ghz 2.39Ghz
Like shown in 3Dmark hinting standard I.D and then current running I.D

You sure its not 2.93? rather than 2.39? as thats what it shows if you use a 333 FSB on a lot of boards rather than 3.0 - I usually use 334 as it shows 3.0gig then - even tho the performance difference is negligent.
