E6600 CPU-Z ????

Just got my E6600 and DS3 mobo and when I went into CPU-Z my multiplier comes up as 6X and speed is down as 1600mhz per core .....my temps are also 37 idle ..is all this correct has it got speed stepping or anything ?...cheers for any advice

Ah Cheers just run some progs while cpu-z was open and it does go to the 2.4 when needed ...can anyone confirm if my temps are fine or should i get another fan just using the reference fan at min thanx ...
