I recently purchased a e6600, as far as performance goes the boost is noticeable however the CPU is running much hotter then previous chip a D930, now obviously these are 2 different chips i cant expect them to be exactly the same but i consider 45c idle 55 game load 65 orthos load to be a bit high considering the last chip was sitting pretty at 30-50 on a stock cooler this one is under a AF7 again brand new.
Does anyone have any suggestions what i can do here, no other temps seem to be out of the ordinary other CPU, Case 25-30 depending on room temp, gpu 35/55.
