I have had my E6600 run at 3.4GHz (on air) stable for 9 months but recently I decided to have a go on Prime 95 again but it is now showing errors after 3 secs of benchmarking?
I decided to run 3d Mark 05 and 06 which went thru without any glitches and all my games run without a hitch. Windows works fine also. Even CPU Burn-in was successful without a hitch?
My main concern is when I downclocked the E6600 back to 2.4GHz, Prime 95 brought up the same errors again after a few seconds??
Oh, and the BIOS settings have not been changed from how they were for 9 months when all was stable (apart from me lowering and raising the FSB)
Any help would be appreciated
