e6600 multiplier....... 8 or 9??

ive currently got my e6600 running at 3.2ghz, using 355x9 with near enough standard voltage. im happy with current speed, but wondered if i would see any benefit of trying 400x8 to get the same result?? (bandwith)
will it cause complications with my ram?? its rated at 667, but is currently at around 700 something, 2.ov.
im mainly use it for gaming.
