E6600 Now shipping!

OK good news!

Today/Tomorrow we shall be shipping our first 20 E6600 Retail backorders and were hoping to recieve a further 100-500 units over the next 10 days which should clear most of the backorders.

This is just passing on what I have been informed, don't take it as rock solid but at least its something and you heard it here first.

Well our warehouse is running on lower staff levels than it would be say at Christmas time but last week we were more or less as busy as we was during December/January and this week we have been busier.

So our warehouse is going at full chat at the moment!

We have/are shipping nearly all the orders that were placed on the 22/06/2006 all orders after that remain on backorder until further deliveries arrive.

Another 200 E6600 Retail are arriving in our warehouse tomorrow AM!

This means that all backorders will ship tomorrow so you will all have your E6600 backorders for the weekend.

I told you OcUK would look after you and get the best allocation which we have due to the fact we have taken so many pre-orders for this product.

I have just phoned OCUK and tried to order the Gigabyte GA_965P_DQ6 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard (MB-058-GI), the sales department told me they are not in stock.

Gibbo, could you please let us all know if these mobo's are in stock or not and if we phone OCUK now will we still get told they are out of stock or in stock.

More good news! Asus P5W DH Deluxe, 200 just arrived!

Also all other Conroes, E6300, E6400, E6600, E6700 and X6800 Retail CPU's are arriving tomorrow and Friday.

So it looks like by end of this week we would have shipped nearly all backorders if not all of them and will have all speeds of Core 2 DUO in stock next week.

You folks gotta be patient. We got something like 1500 orders to ship out the door today please and practically all orders will ship.

Please don't be calling sales as they can't give you information and you will just tie up our phone lines.

Let us do our jobs and that way practically all of you will have your new toys tomorrow.

We've shipped as much as we possibly can today!

But we had one warehouse staff off due to illness and another had to go home at dinner time due to falling very ill.

So the remainder of the E6600 orders will ship out tomorrow and we do have another 100 E6600's to book in as well.

I was going to say that surely all orders have been dealt with in the order they were recieved with no guarantee of any orders placed yesterday or today going out today....

...then there is that post above from the person who ordered today and had shipping notification 3 minutes later.
He is the odd-one out here who appears to have queue jumped - did he really get shipping confirmation 3 minutes later or just order confirmation??

Orders with just the CPU on will go out first as thats how warehouses work. The bigger orders will be picked up might get held up waiting for product to be booked into stock. Our warehouse have done their best, nothing more they can do.

Anybody who wants Saturday delivery it is available but it does cost extra and its something we can't offer at no extra charge.

Hi there

Well I've just booked in the other lot of E6600's so they now show in stock on the website. We've got about 130 to go at, but about 110 of those are assigned to orders which will ship out tomorrow.

Anybody who wants Saturday delivery do not webnote us, please just call at 8:30 - 9:00am tomorrow to arrange.

We are busier than we were at Christmas but as you can imagine have staff on holidays etc. and some off ill so its all hands to the pump, we are doing our best.

Oh, found out why my order has been delayed. They're out of e6600 stock, and wont be getting any more til the end of next week.

Today is end of the week.

Don't cry were just in between booking another batch in.

Theres yet another 50 CPU's to book (E6600) so another 50 orders will hopefully ship out today). Plus we have another 100 x E6600 arriving tomorrow on Saturday delivery to allow us to ship more orders out and possibly have some left over the counter sales in the shop.

Yep like you, Im holding out for this BUT seems that we are the smallest group waiting for our CPU's.

Perhaps Gibbo could give us a clue as to the possible date
