whats wierd is when you remove that last power connector at the top back the fan led and fan goes on for 1 milisecond

im seriously thinking of taking everything out and starting again..wierd how you take that 8 pin powerconnector out from the top back and the light on the case fan lights up for a milisecond though

surely there should be beeps if anything was wrong...im just getting the green light on the mobo next to the power connector and thats it

It doesnt sound like your getting far enough to get any beeps.

Is this a new power supply ? Do you have another to try with ?

yes its the seasonic 500w.... the green light is the standbye led on the mobo...surely that would not be coming on if it was the power supply>

Ive had many power supplies die on me and they have all still had enough juice to light up the mobo, some even got the fans spinning but where dead.

Double check that the power switch is connected to the correct mobo pins.

I presume the soft power switch is connected properly? Just a thought!
