On the 2nd August the website said they'd be in stock tomorrow (yesterday) but I assume that didn't happen...no mention of people waiting for them, everyone seems to have gone for the E6600.
Trickster63 said:Yep like you, Im holding out for this BUT seems that we are the smallest group waiting for our CPU's.
Perhaps Gibbo could give us a clue as to the possible date
(Apologies for the slightly off topic reference)
Gibbo said:Hi there
Expect those sometime next week....
Or go for the OEM along with a Freezer 7 or something.
Devious said:I'd go for the OEM, you may not get the 3 year warranty but how often do you hear of processors failing ? ...they are tough little things.
You may snap the pins off etc but then you've voided the warranty then anyway.
Your order has been sent to our warehouse but not yet printed.
If your order remains in this state for several hours there may be an out of stock item delaying your orders progress.
dafloppyone said:I still dont see how anyone could manage to snap the processor pins off...they are so easy to install....but then again I dont see how anyone could screw up their pc installation because the screws were too tight

You may snap the pins off yourself etc but then you've voided the warranty then anyway.
