Yes we still have product in stock but its reserved for backorders.....

ARGHH! I`m probably going to be in the next set dispatched, but i go on holiday at 9am on friday! I`m hoping it comes before 9. Otherwise its going to be hell getting it redelivered in over a weeks time.

EDIT - Thanks for the good news Gibbo. Close enough to the `paper` launch to make nearly no difference. <2 weeks and nearly all backorders will have cleared!!!

I have just ordered - well as soon as it was announced all back orders would be fulfilled this week.
It is my understanding:

Tomorrow AM enough 6600's will arrive to cover the majority of backorders.
Friday will see enough to finish the backorders and allow a few into free stock.

I would personally assume that if you ordered now you'll like me see your CPU on Monday unless you paid for Saturday delivery.

That is just my understanding from Gibbo's post.

I just got me a retail 6600 coming Monday.. I'm so happy I could weep. :D

Now the massive dilema.. I was gonna buy Gigabyte, prolly DS4 but some people are saying it wont work with my - G.Skill 2GB DDR2 NR PC2-6400 (2x1GB) CAS5 Dual Channel Kit (F2-6400PHU2-2GBNR) (MY-014-GS) .

So, I am prolly gonna get the Asus P5W DH Deluxe WiFi. OR... should I had on for the - MSI boards??

Then again I like the look of the Asus P5B... aaaaargh my head lol. :p

I recommend changing the board, thats the one I wanted and it has memory isseus with that type :(
