Will be getting my conroe bits tomorrow, is the E6600 worth the extra cash over the E6400? Im sure i can clock the E6400 past 6600 speeds but will the 4Mb cache make much difference?

not a great deal of performance tbh, i would save the money and get some better ram for the 6400, mine is at clock in sig on stock volts but my ram's limiting it atm!

yeah i know it's awesome and it means that my ram is running at pc6400 speeds on my p5b deluxe! i know this chip can go much further this is what's annoying me lol, i need some better ram then carry on clocking her!

whats the differance is there between the clocl multis of the 6300, 6400 and 6600? i'l also be buying soon and i wanna make sure what would clock best on a DS3 for the lowest amount of kash. i'm expecting the 6400 is the one to get.

The 6300 has a x7 multi, 6400 has x8 and 6600 has x9, my 6300 atm is 420x7 which gives me 2.94, so obviously the 6400 will give at same clock420x8=3.3 ish. etc. This also depends how good clocker the chip you get is.
