E6600 or E6700

As part of my new build I am still trying to choose between the E6600 and the E6700. The £90 price drop on the E6700 makes it seem very appetizing.

Theres is now only £61 difference in price between these processors.

Is it madness not to buy the E6700 ?

Corsair Dominator TWIN2X2048-6400C4D 2x1gb

or

Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-6400C4 800MHz Dual Channel Kit

Still not decided between yet.

Are your opinions based on price or performance?.

The price is not an issue for me in this case.

I really would like to know if its worth overclocking the E6600 to E6700 speeds when I can buy the E6700?

Will the E6700 not also overclock well also?

Does an E6700 without Overclocking run at the same temperature as an E6600?

Are we looking at much difference in temp when overclocked?
