E6600 Overclock

just done my first overclock, managed to get it to almost 3GHz ran prime 95 for 10mins but the temp was a bit high. hit a high of 65c.

anyone got any tips on this chip. as i've heard of people hitting 4GHz!

my cooling is an old Zalman Ultra Quiet cpu cooler, its not my main pc. i was just playing around whilst trying to get the other to work (as i'm waiting on RMA's and advice as i cant get it going.)

just put my old on back together and i wanted to see how far i could push it. not really doing well. the best temp i've got so far is 52 and thats only at 2.7GHz. think my vCore is 1.3v and NB 1.2 but when i pushed it up to 3GHz i got the 65c 8(
